Providing advanced dental care in a modern & elevated environment

New Patients Welcome

Everyone is welcome, no prior registration is needed to book an appointment. There are no hidden additional costs.

At your first appointment, the dentist will have a detailed discussion with you about your dental history, and any problems or concerns you may have. We will then carry out a thorough examination of your mouth, jaw, teeth and gums, and carry out the appropriate X-rays. This is all included in the price of a check up.

Common problems we see are often dental decay, gum or periodontal problems, tooth wear, jaw joint problems and misaligned teeth. We will then provide you with and discuss a treatment plan, and make appropriate appointments if necessary.

Our Prices

At The Dental Sanctuary, we are committed to providing high quality dental care at affordable prices. We recognise that cost plays a significant role in making decisions, and we don't want it to hinder your access to a beautiful smile.

Our highly skilled and experienced team of dentists will work with you to develop a personalised treatment plan that is tailored to your individual needs and budget.

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect at my first appointment?
+

At your first dental check up, you can expect the following:

  • A discussion of your dental and medical history, and identification of any concerns you have regarding your dental health. This is followed by a comprehensive examination of your mouth, jaw teeth and gums to detect any potential dental issues such as decay, gum disease, tooth wear, joint issues and other problems.
  • Oral cancer screening: The dentist will check your mouth for any signs of oral cancer.
  • X-rays: The dentist may take radiographs of your teeth and jaw to get a more detailed view of any potential dental issues.
  • Cleaning: The dentist will then discuss cleaning your teeth with special equipment to remove any staining or tartar and plaque build up.
  • Personalised advice and guidance: The dentist will provide you with personalised advice on how you can improve your oral hygiene routine and maintain good oral health.
  • If the dentist has identified any problems that require attention, treatments that may benefit your oral health and cosmetic appearance, a treatment plan will be created together.

In summary, your first dental check up is an opportunity to evaluate your dental health, identify any potential problems, and get started on a path towards good oral health.

Do you provide emergency dental services?
+

Yes, we offer emergency dental services for patients who experience dental pain, swelling, or other urgent dental problems. Book online or call our reception team for our next available slot. Where possible, we will always try and see you on the same day, so please call as early as you can.

Booking system and pre-appointment medical background questionnaire
+

If you would like to make an appointment, or simply have a question, please phone our reception team on 0161 843 5711 between 8.30 am – 5.30 pm so we can take some details and make you an appointment. We also have a convenient online booking system. Please follow the link, which will take you to our dedicated page where you can select the appointment you require. We ask that you pay a non-refundable deposit when booking to secure the appointment. If you need to reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours notice.

Once your appointment is booked, you will be emailed a confirmation, which contains a link to an online medical history questionnaire. Please complete this before you attend so we can save time on the day. Alternatively, our friendly team will assist you in filling it out on the day.

How to find us, parking and accessibility at the practice
+

The Dental Sanctuary is devoted to providing a high level of service to all our patients, and we strive to treat everyone as an individual and meet their specific requirements.

The entrance to the practice is via the pedestrian gate on Great Clowes Street at the front of the building.

The address is: The Dental Sanctuary, Victoria House, 122 Great Clowes Street, Salford. M7 1RN.

We have noticed if you only put the postcode in, it may not take you straight to The Dental Sanctuary. Please ensure you enter ‘122 Great Clowes Street’.

We also have a small car park for patients, with enough space for 3 cars. The car park entrance is on Kent Street, with a secure gate. If the gate it closed, please press the buzzer and we will open it for you. Alternatively there is plenty of street parking on Kent Street.

The front door is located at the top of seven paved steps. Unfortunately, we do not have wheelchair access.

If you are a wheelchair user, please phone the practice on 0161 843 5711 to discuss this, as we can arrange for you to be seen as a new patient at another site. If you require assistance with steps, our friendly team will gladly assist you, just press the buzzer at the bottom of the steps or telephone us and let us know.

Once in the building, our reception and waiting room are located through a door to your right, through a clearly signed door.  We have a portable hearing loop available at reception.

Toilets are located straight ahead from the front door, and clearly signed.

We are proud to be a paperless practice and strive to be green and eco-friendly wherever possible, whilst maintaining the gold standards of cross-infection control.
